Coleslaw


Coleslaw Salad is my favorite Specialy with burgers and Sandwiches or Fried Fish , i Got this recipe through the Internet it's a Clone for KFC coleslaw that turned up to be pretty Good with some adjusting.




Ingredients:


1/2   Head Shredded Cabbage 
1      medium carrot cut in Small cubes
1      Tbs chopped onion
1/3   Cup mayonnaise 
2      Tbs granulated Sugar
1      Tbs Milk 
1       Tbs buttermilk
1       Teaspoon lemon juice
1       Teaspoon white vinegar
1       Stalk celery (or celery salt )
         Salt & Pepper to Taste 

Steps:

1-Make sure that the cabbage , the carrot , the Onion & the celery Stalk are cut into a very small pieces 
2-Combine  the mayonnaise the milk and the buttermilk , the lemon juice , the vinegar , Salt & Pepper and (the Celery salt if used) in large bowl and Beat until smooth.
3-Add cabbage , carrot , Onion and celery stalk (if used instead of the celery salt).
4-Cover and refrigerate at least for 2 Hours before Serving . 

Vegetarian Pita Bread Pizza


One of the easiest things to Cook is a Pita Bread Pizza style.. Vegetarian or not whenever i'm in rush or tired it is always one of my Options !.






Ingredients:


For  1 Large or Small pitta Bread 
       Tomato Sauce
       Black Olives
       Mexican cheese (or the cheese of your Choice). 
 1/4 Chopped Onion 
 1/4 Chopped green Onion 
   1  Chopped Mushroom
        Salt & Pepper 
        Italian Seasoning herbs ( or thyme If available )

Steps :

1-Preheat the over on 350F
2-Put a Layer of  the Tomato Sauce on the Pita Bread with some Salt and Pepper.
3-Then add a Layer of Onions and Green Peppers and Mushrooms and the Black Olives.
4-Put the Pita bread Pizza in the Oven to cook the vegetables for about 15 min ..then Add the cheese and the Herbs Seasoning and put it back until the Cheese melt .
Serve Hot alone or with any other Side of your Choice. 

Tacos


I tried Tacos at home cos i liked to change the routine of my dinners little bit .. this recipe was pretty Good one.


(quantities depends on how many servings you need)





Ingredients :




Ground beef 
Tacos Seasoning :
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
tomato sauce
Diced onion 

Letus leaves 
shredded Mexican cheese 

Salsa:
Diced Tomato 
Diced onion
diced jalapenos (remove the center) 

sour Cream
olive oil 
Salt and pepper to taste 


steps:

 1- in a hot pan pour 1Tbs olive oil then the Diced onion + the ground beef+Tacos seasoning and the tomato sauce+salt to taste.

2-Reduce heat and simmer till  drain .

3-prepare the Salsa : Mix the diced tomato + Diced Onion + Diced jalapenos + salt and Pepper + lil bit of olive oil + bit white vinegar .

4- in a tortilla shell pour beef mixture then layer of shredded Mexican cheese layer of Salsa then Letus leaves and sour cream

serve Hot .


salmon Salad


sometimes this my favorite lunch it is very yummy , easy to make and refreshing in the summer time ..







ingredients:




1   Canned Salmon 
1   Diced Celery stick 
2   Diced Scallions
2   TBS Mayonnaise 
Salt & Pepper to taste

Steps:

1- in a large bowl combine Drain salmon with the celery and the Scallions 

2- add the salt , the pepper and the Mayo 

3- Mix well 

4- refrigerate before serving so that the flavors blend together .

Tuscan Chicken Pasta

 this recipe it's very Good for chicken pasta







Ingredients:



for 2 servings:
2         Cups Pasta ( Rigatoni ) or the one of your choice 
1         Chicken breasts cut in cubes 
2         Tbs  frego roasted Garlic Parmesan Sauce 
1/4      Cup water
1/4      Copped Onion
1         Small chopped Yellow  bell pepper 
1         Small chopped red bell pepper 
1/2      Cup mushrooms
1/2      Cup fresh chopped spinach
4         Diced Cherry Tomatoes 
1         Tea spoon Tuscan seasoning 
1         Table spoon olive oil
           salt & pepper  to taste .

Steps :

1- boil pasta for 15 min 
2- in a pan pour the olive oil add the onion then the chicken cubes 
3- add the chopped yellow bell pepper  and the red bell pepper and the mushrooms also the tomatoes 
4- add the tuscan seasoning & the 1/4 Cup water.
cover for 10 min on medium heat 
5- uncover the pan and add the Frego roasted Garlic Parmesan Sauce
6- add the salt and pepper and stir to mix the Sauce very well
7- bring to boil .
8-  pour the pasta on the sauce pan & mix well together .
serve Hot with Salad .

Cream Cheese lasagna


Spicy and creamy recipe
 to enjoy on dinners.






Ingredients :

1/2 lb  Ground Beef 
1/2      Cup Chopped Onion 
1         Can Tomato Sauce 
1/2      Can tomato Paste 
1/4      Cup water 
1         TBS Parsley 
1/4      Tea Spoon dried or Fresh Rosemary 
1/4      Tea Spoon dried Thyme 
1/4      Tea Spoon nut meg 
1/2      Tea Spoon Oregano
1         Tea Spoon Salt 
1/2      Tea Spoon black pepper  
1         Garlic 
1/2      Pak Cream Cheese 
1/2      Cup Parmesan 
1/4      Cup Sour cream 
1         Egg  
1         Cup shredded Mozzarella 
2         Cup chopped spinach 
1         Cup  Mushrooms 
1         Box uncooked Lasagna 

Steps :

1- Preheat the Oven on 375 degrees F .2-Cook the beef , the Onion , Garlic and the mushrooms add salt pepper to taste .3-Cook the Tomato sauce , Tomato Paste , parsley , rosemary , thyme , nut meg , Oregano , add salt and pepper to taste .4-Combine the Cream cheese , Parmesan , sour cream , Egg , Spinach and add salt and pepper to taste .5- put layers of each Mixture and layers of lasagna 6- pour the tomato Sauce left on and put on the Top to finish a layer of the Mozzarella 7- cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour then uncover and Bake for an other 15 minAfter it is Done let it set for 10 min before serving .

Spinach and Cheddar Souffle


This recipe is Great for Souffle's & Spinach Lovers
Very Yammy and neutricious.










Ingredients:



  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing the dish
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for sprinkling
  • 3    tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1    cup scalded milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  •      Pinch of cayenne pepper , salt and black pepper
  • 4    extra-large egg yolks, at room-temperature
  • 1/2 cup grated aged Cheddar cheese, lightly packed
  • 1    package of  spinach  chopped
  • 5    extra-large egg whites, at room temperature
  • 1/8  teaspoon cream of tartar

Steps:

1- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Butter the inside of a 6 to 8-cup souffle dish (6 1/2 to 7 1/2 inches in diameter by 3 1/2 inches deep) and sprinkle evenly with Parmesan.
2- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. With a wooden spoon, stir in the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Off the heat, whisk in the hot milk, the nutmeg, cayenne, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook over low heat, whisking constantly, for 1 minute, until smooth and thick.
3- Off the heat, while still hot, whisk in the egg yolks, one at a time. Stir in the Cheddar, 1/4 cup of Parmesan and the spinach and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
4- Put the egg whites, cream of tartar, and a pinch of salt in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. Beat on low speed for 1 minute, on medium speed for 1 minute, then finally on high speed until they form firm, glossy peaks.
5- Whisk one quarter of the egg whites into the cheese sauce to lighten and then fold in the rest. Pour into the souffle dish, then smooth the top. Draw a large circle on top with the spatula to help the souffle rise evenly, and place in the middle of the oven. Turn the temperature down to 375 degrees F. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes (don't peek!) until puffed and brown. Serve immediately.

Madeleine


French Yummy cake ever!

Ingredients:


1      One Orange Zest 
6      TBS Butter
2       Eggs 
6       TBS Flour 
1       Tea spoon Baking Powder
1/2    Cup Sugar
          pinch of Salt 

Steps:

1- Mix the Eggs , the Sugar   well then add the Butter , the Baking Powder and the Flour 

add the Orange zest and the salt at the last and Mix Again.

2- Bake at Preheated Oven 350 degrees F till Golden 

let it cool & enjoy 

Option : you can make it as Cup-Cakes and pour any 1/2 little spoon of a Jam of your choice inside each Cup Then Bake .

Moroccan Ground Beef Kebabs Fingers


This Kebabs are a Deli it just take me back home .









Ingredients:


1 Lb      Ground beef 
1 Tbs    Paprika 
1 & 1/2 Tea spoon  cumin 
1           Tea spoon salt 
1           Tea spoon black Pepper 
1/2        onion 
2           Tbs chopped parsley and cilantro 

 * prepare some Soaked  Satay Sticks

Steps:
Mix all the ingredients together & and let it rest to let the flavors blend together

when it is time to Cook form fingers in the sticks and Cook in the Grill .

Serve with rice and Salad if desired .

Macaroni & Cheese


This recipe is my Favorite as it is so creamy and Tasty Also it is easy to make.







Ingredients:


2     Cups Uncooked elbow Macaroni 
1/2  Cup Fat free Sour Cream 
2     Cups Fat free Skim Milk 
2     Tbs Finely Chopped Onion 
3     Tbs All purpose Flour 
1     Tsp Yellow Mustard 
1/2  Tea spoon Salt 
1/4  Tea spoon Cayenne red Pepper 
1/4  Tea spoon Black Pepper
2     Cups Shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese 

Steps:

1-Cook and Drain Macaroni then stir in Sour Cream and Cover to keep Warm
2- heat the Oven for 250 degrees F
3- Stir onion in some Butter add flour Stir again then add the Skim Milk ans Mustard + Salt & Black Pepper Keep Stir Till it thicken then add Cayenne red Pepper 
4- bring to Boil then stir in the Cheese till all melt and Mix together 
5- Pour in a baking Pan for 20 to 25 Min until edges are Bubbly .

Option : you can sprinkle with little Paprika before Baking 

chocolate Roll-cake


In fact i tried many roll-cakes recipes but none was as perfect as this one i just keep doing it over and over again it is so moist and delicious .



Ingredients :





for the cake :
6 eggs 
10 Tbs flour 
10 Tbs Sugar
3Tbs cocoa Powder
2Tbs milk
2Tea spoon baking powder
2 Tea spoon vanilla extract

 for the syrup :

1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup water 
2 Tea spoon Vanilla extract

pour the ingredients in a pan and bring to Boil for 15 min 

for the Cream :

500ml chilled whipped Cream
3Tbs   powdered Sugar 


Steps :

1- Separate whites and Yolks 
wisk the Yolks and Sugar very well add milk and Cocoa powder then add the Sifted Flour and the baking powder
2- Beat the egg whites until firm with pinch of salt or Tartar
Stir preparation N2 with preparation N1 gently 
3-pour into into buttered Pan (12x17) with non-stick cooking sheet and Bake in Preheated Oven 360 degree F for 35 Min.
in the mean time:
4- prepare the whipped Cream :  whip the Cream well chilled in a very Cold Bowl add the powdered Sugar once the cream start the thicken add vanilla extract ( or melted chocolate) .
5- Assemble the cake after u get the cake out from the oven let it cool bit then pour the Syrup slowly on all of it then roll it slowly to not brake it and to prepare it shape. 
6-unroll the cake spread a layer of the whipped Cream and Roll it then cover with cream and decorate as you like .
put at least for 2 hours in the freezer before serving .
